How to limit the visibility of Users to different Administrators?

If you want the Administrator to see only selected users belonging to the selected company, use the ‘Companies’ function.

What is the ‘Companies’ function?

Companies are an additional paid feature in the Gamfi app. It allows customers, configuring, for example, the application for an entire group of companies, to manage the visibility of Users according to the Company to which they are actually employed.

This means that in the Administration Panel, an Administrator from Company X sees only Employees and job applicants from Company X.

How to configure Companies in your application?

In the Administration Panel, go to Settings and the ‘Companies’ tab. Add all the companies you want to have access to the app by clicking on the ‘Add a company’ button in the top right corner.

How to assign a company to the new user?

Assigning a user to a company can happen automatically with an existing integration with an ATS, such as eRecruiter or Traffit.

If the Administrator has no company assigned - he sees all users from all companies.

How to delete a Company that has been created?

A Company created in the Settings section cannot be permanently deleted, but it can be archived. All you need to do is to click the three dots on the right in the list of Companies next to the Company selected for archiving and select the ‘Archive’ option.

By switching on the ‘Show archived items’ switch, you can view the Companies that have been archived and even restore them again by clicking on the three dots on the right and selecting the ‘Restore’ option. This allows you to reassign the restored Company to the user in his or her account.

What are the effects of archiving Companies?

  • Previously assigned but archived Companies still affect the visibility of the respective User in the Employee and Process lists in the Administration Panel
  • archived companies cannot be assigned to a user in his/her account
