Use Business Sequences - tag Actions in Workflow and increase the efficiency of Process reporting.
A Business Sequence is a tag that you can create yourself and then tag Actions in Workflow with it, assigning them to a specific issue, such as:
- pre/post employment formalities
- duties of Manager/Buddie/Human Resources Supervisor, etc.
- compulsory/optional training
- organizational culture
- benefits
- well-being surveys
- equipment/Welcome pack
...and any other category you need.
Using Business Sequences, you gain, first of all, even more possibilities to report and verify progress in the Processes you have launched. You increase the efficiency of the execution of Processes - you can globally look, for example, at the completion of all employment paperwork (both on the Employee side and other Roles), rather than individual tasks.
All you need to do is check the completion rate of a given sequence in the report, and if it is 100% you will know that both the employee has completed the Personnel Questionnaire, provided data for referral and sent the necessary scans of documents, as well as the manager has submitted the relevant applications, and the Personnel Supervisor has entered the Employee into the system. After all, from your perspective as an employer, it is important to complete a set of tasks that will translate into the employability of the candidate in question.
How to add new Business Sequence?
To set up Business Sequences in the Gamfi Application, go to Settings → Business Sequences tab.
In the upper right corner, click the "Add new business sequence" option: choose a name, label color and (optionally) a short description.
Go to the Workflows tab and select the Workflow in which you want to tag the Action. When you hover over each of them, the 🏷️ icon will appear and you will have a very quick and easy way to assign the sequence you created earlier.
💡 Remember, that you can assign multiple Sequences to one Action.
How to delete a created Business Sequence?
A Business Sequence created in the Settings section cannot be permanently deleted, but it can be archived. All you need to do is to the right in the list of Business Sequences next to the Sequence selected for archiving, click the three dots and select the ‘Archive’ option.
By switching on the ‘Show archived items’ switch, you can view Business Sequences that have been archived and even restore them again by clicking on the three dots on the right and selecting the ‘Restore’ option. In this way, you can include the restored Sequence in workflows again.
What are the effects of archiving Business Sequences?
- for ongoing Processes, nothing changes - the Sequence is still included in the reports
- in the case of newly started Processes, you can also continue to report the Sequence, which has been archived in the Settings, but is still present in the workflows
- existing Actions, which are assigned in Workflow to the archived Sequence, remain unchanged
- however, you cannot create a new Action and assign it to an archived Sequence
