Glossary

Learn some basic concepts to move more efficiently and quickly through your Application. Let's get started!

  1. Administrator - a User with the broadest level of privileges in the Application, in particular the permissions to manage (including granting, changing and revoking) the permissions of other Users, to create Workflows, start Processes or reporting.
  2. Application (Gamfi Application) - an IT system thanks to which you can, in particular, create Workflow in the Admin Panel, based on prepared Actions, published to the User in the User Portal as part of a running Process.
  3. Workflow Category - a feature of Workflow that affects its operation, in particular the terminology used in the Application. You can choose from the available categories: Talent&Onboarding, Offboarding, Learning&Development.
  4. User Account - a set of resources and settings created for a User in the Application, containing information (including Personal Data) concerning a given User and permissions to the extent appropriate to the level of access granted to a given User. Each Account is individual, and only one named User has access to it.
  5. Admin Panel - the management center of your Gamfi Application, the part of the Application made available to Administrators. The Admin Panel is used in particular to manage Users, create and modify Workflows, run `Processes, create and modify Roles, configure Application settings, generate reports.
  6. Employee Portal - this is the part of the Application made available to Users, where Actions, contact information and key materials are published within the launched Process.
  7. Process - linking a User to Actions, according to the scheduled sequence defined in the Workflow. Launching a Process involves indicating a User (along with the required parameters) for whom the Application will generate Actions, according to the sequence specified in the Workflow, on the basis of which the Process is launched.
  8. Role - a function in the Application that allows you to define the recipient of an Action in Workflow, including but not limited to a specific User. The Customer has the ability to define Roles in the Application on its own. The number of possible Roles in the Application is not limited, unless otherwise specified in the Order.
  9. User - any person who has used or is using the Application both in the Role of Administrator, Employee, manager or any other person involved in the Processes being launched.
  10. Workflow - a sequence of Actions prepared in the Application, defined in time and assigned to be executed for a specific Role. Workflow is the basis for the Processes launched within the Application. In other words, it is a template for a Process (e.g. onboarding).
  11. Action - a single activity in Workflow, which is assigned to a specific Role in the Process. Each Action is characterized by its type, recipient, content and delivery time. There are 5 types of Actions available in the Application: Email, SMS, Task, Training and Form.
  12. Employee - is a type of User, which is the subject of the Process being launched.
  13. Task - is a single task to be performed within an ongoing Process, which has been placed in Workflow. An example of a task could be seeing a video, taking a quiz, or declaring that a certain action has been performed.
  14. Training - is a collection of different types of tasks that deal with the same or similar issues. An example of a training course might be training in health and safety or compliance.
