How to remind users of an overdue task?

Use Alerts - remind your employees of awaiting tasks.

Alerts are a function closely related to setting a deadline for completing a task, which you can read about here.

If you set a deadline, you can additionally set an Alert that will automatically notify relevant users when the deadline is exceeded.

You can configure each Alert in cascade by adding more steps.

In each step you separately select the recipient of the Alert, the communication channel and the time of sending it (calculated from the time the Action is overdue).

The notifications have a predetermined content:

  • Alert to an employee if he or she has not completed one task

Hi {name}, the time to complete the task has expired: {task name}. Enter the application: {url}

  • Alert to the employee if he or she has not completed two or more tasks

Hi {name}, the time for completing tasks has expired. Go to the application: {url}

  • Alert to the Role if the User has not completed one task

Hi {role name}, {employee name} did not complete the task: {task name}. Recall application: {url}

  • Alert to Role if the User has failed to complete two or more tasks

Hi {role name}, {employee name} did not complete the tasks. Reminder of the application: {url}

💡 Note: if different tasks are overdue at a given time (e.g., for many Employees whose Processes involve a Role - the recipient of the Alert), the Application will not send multiple notifications - only one, collective notification. This way you can be sure that you will not overwhelm a given User with dozens of email or text message Alerts.
