How to design Microlearning in Gamfi?

Microlearning is a feature created for designing training and educational missions in Gamfi.

A Microlearning workflow can contain the following Actions:

  • Emails and SMS – notifications,

  • Pages, Stories, Video – elements conveying knowledge,

  • Forms – elements collecting information from employees or other Process Roles (e.g., surveys),

  • Knowledge Check – element testing knowledge,

  • and Background Actions: Document, Data Transfer, and Start Process.

Some facts about Microlearning

 1️⃣ The individual elements that make up the training are independent of each other - they are released one after another until the training is completed.

 💡The exception is when a user interrupts training. In such a case, they will be able to resume the training from the Portal.

 2️⃣ The release of Shares does not depend on a key date - they are released immediately after the training starts;

 3️⃣ In this type of Workflow you do not assign Actions to Roles - all Actions are released to the person for whom the Training is launched;

 4️⃣ You can set the time availability of the training - then you indicate the “From” and “To” dates:

 5️⃣ If you know that the training may evolve, for example, additional elements may be added over time, you can use the "Don't complete the process" mode. In this case, if an additional training element appears, the employee will be able to complete it.

6️⃣ If you decide that you no longer want to add further Actions to the Training, you can use the "Automatically close processes" switch. After enabling this option, processes will be automatically closed after reaching 100% completion.

 💡The setting is one-time - after activation it will not be possible to change it.

7️⃣ You can add conditions to the workflow (similarly to other workflow types) and a cover that will be visible in the training tile in the Digital Learning view:
