What is Workflow Category?

When configuring a new Workflow, you must indicate the category that will determine its operating mechanics and accompanying content.

You can choose from the following options:

  • Talent & Onboarding
  • Learning & Development
  • Offboarding

Choosing the right category affects the content that appears in the Panel and the User Portal. Each Action placed in the Workflow is executed according to the pre-set execution time and date (learn more here). Depending on the selected Workflow category, the date against which the Actions are set will change:

  • Talent & Onboarding: the first day of work
  • Learning & Development: a key date (e.g., the day the position started or the actual start of the Learning Process).
  • Offboarding: the last day at work

You can additionally tag the categories with labels which are displayed next to the Workflow in the list of all paths:

  • Talent & Onboarding: Preboarding, Onboarding, Job induction, Reboarding.
  • Learning & Development: New Role, New Competence, Product Knowledge
