What does "Draft" status mean?

"Draft" status means that the Action is not (for the time being) included in already running and future Processes.

Every Action added to Workflow (regardless of how it was added - learn more) is automatically given the status "Draft". This status means that the Action is not (for the time being) included in already running and future Processes.

The "Draft" status allows you to comfortably prepare an Action (its content and settings), without affecting ongoing and future Processes. This means that such an Action will not be seen by the roles assigned to it until it is published (read: the Action will not get done).

When you find that the Action you have prepared is ready to be published (and thus to be added to ongoing and future Processes) you can publish it by clicking on the "Publish" button.

In addition, the application will also display a message if you use an Action that occurs in other places and Workflows, and the changes you have made will be reflected there after publishing, as well (learn more here). Click "Publish" to publish the Action.

Once published, the Action will change its status to Workflow:

...and will be added to the ongoing (Action cannot be passed in these Processes) and future Processes in your Application.
